The Progressive Stimulus Fund, a project of over 12 foundations was launched in June of 2020 to support grassroots groups’ fundraising and revenue generation in response to challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic and economic recession. Lifting up BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving organizations and examining biases within its grantmaking processes are the first of what will be many steps towards creating equity.
