The Progressive Multiplier Fund is a project of Progressive Power Lab (PPL). PPL Employee benefits include a generous benefits package, including health, vision, dental, paid time off (including your birthday), 401k, life insurance, and more. Progressive Power Lab partners with TriNet for all human resources and benefits services, providing PPL team members with the benefits of a Fortune 500 company while working with a dynamic start-up team.
Medical Employee Benefits
PPL and TriNet partner with leading health care carriers, like Aetna, Florida Blue, Blue Shield of California and Kaiser, to offer a broad range of medical plans, including PPOs and HMOs. Medical plan options vary by state, and may also include regional carriers. Employees can choose their plans based on their needs, and PPL covers about $6,000 per year for a single employee (more if staff add dependents and spouses), which covers 100% of the cost of some plans and a significant portion of others. PPL also covers some of the health care costs of partners and dependents.
Dental Employee Benefits
PPL’s and TriNet’s four dental carriers – Delta Dental, Aetna, Guardian Dental, and MetLife – offer a high and a low national dental PPO plan. Aetna and Delta Dental also will make available a DMO plan in many states.
Vision Employee Benefits
PPL and TriNet also offers a high and a low vision plan nationally through two different carriers: Aetna and Vision Service Plan (VSP). These plan options ensure that you can choose the best plan and carrier for your individual vision needs.
For all health benefits, the Company contributes a fixed dollar amount each month towards the plan you elect. You are responsible for the remainder of the premium cost, if any.
Basic Life Insurance Employee Benefits
PPL offers company-paid basic life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) plans. The Company pays for basic life insurance coverage valued at $10,000 Basic Life & AD&D, which includes an equal amount of AD&D coverage.
Supplemental Life Insurance
If you want extra protection for yourself and your eligible dependents, you have the option to elect supplemental life insurance. You may request coverage yourself for one to six times your annual salary, with a maximum benefit of $2,000,000. Spousal coverage is also available in increments of $10,000 up to $150,000, and child coverage for $10,000. Note that amounts above guaranteed issue ($300,000 for you and $30,000 for your spouse) and certain coverage increases must be approved by the insurance carrier.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP is available at no cost, even if you don’t enroll in TriNet group benefits. You and your family members may access free, confidential counseling and referral services. This program provides 24-hour confidential assistance with personal, family and work-related concerns – plus online resources. The toll-free, dedicated EAP phone number is 1-888-893-5893.

Paid Time Off Employee Benefits
Employees are eligible for 15 days of Paid Time Off for sick and vacation leave in their first year, in addition to most major public holidays and their birthday.
