PANA - Scaling Fundraising for Long-Term Impact
The Partnership for the Advancement of New Americans (PANA) is dedicated to building a more just and inclusive society for refugee and immigrant communities. Through advocacy, community organizing, and strategic funding initiatives, PANA ensures equitable access to resources and opportunities for marginalized communities.
Here’s the plan:
To expand their impact and secure long-term sustainability, PANA has set an ambitious goal to raise $11.5 million by the end of 2025. Their strategy is built on three core fundraising pillars:
- Individual Giving & Major Donors – Raising $2M through a combination of email outreach, in-person meetings, and digital solicitations. This campaign is focused on engaging PANA’s network, testing lead generation strategies, and securing major gifts.
- Government & Institutional Funding – Securing $9.5M through strategic applications, leveraging programs such as the Neighborhood Reinvestment Program, discretionary funds, Federal Congressional Committee letters, and remaining COVID-19 relief funds. This approach ensures a diverse mix of public funding sources to support PANA’s mission.
To achieve this:
PANA’s strategy is already delivering results. The organization has successfully raised $8.5M toward its $11.5M goal, demonstrating the effectiveness of its multi-channel fundraising approach.
Federal & Institutional Grants – The team has secured significant funding by tapping into key government resources and grant opportunities.
Major Donor Campaign – PANA is in the early stages of executing its individual giving strategy. A dedicated committee has been established, donor prospect lists are being finalized, and outreach efforts are ramping up to secure lead gifts.
What’s Next:
With momentum on their side, PANA is shifting focus toward closing the remaining $3M gap. By intensifying their individual giving efforts, refining their donor engagement strategies, and leveraging federal and state funding opportunities, they aim to fund their vision by the end of 2025 fully.
PANA’s approach ensures financial sustainability and reinforces its ability to advocate for and uplift refugee and immigrant communities through strategic, long-term investment.
