National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice: Growing a Digital Fundraising Program

The National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice fights for equal access to reproductive health for Latina/x communities. With a grant from Progressive Multiplier, they are working to build and launch a robust digital engagement and fundraising program during Latinx Heritage Month. 

The Latina Institute is investing in a more robust digital fundraising program that will yield greater engagement with the brand, its content, and programmatic opportunities and grow revenue. This project aims to increase and diversify revenue streams into a more sustainable mix while attracting a younger audience of individual supporters. 

The new fundraising program will include launching and testing email campaigns that include one-time and monthly giving solicitations, revamping their welcome series, launching and testing social media campaigns, testing targeted digital ads for lead generation and/or donations, small in-person events, and potentially, SMS. 

In a three-year period, the Latina Institute expects to diversify to 3-5% of revenue coming from individuals. In addition, they will increase individual donor revenue by 40% over 12 months. 

The National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice centers and amplifies Latina/x voices so they can transform the systems and narratives that influence the ability to reclaim their bodies and their lives. 

This project is currently in progress; final results will be shared in a case study at a later date.
