IDEAL STATEMENT
As the staff of a funding intermediary supporting independent revenue generation for progressive movement groups, we acknowledge our responsibility to confront the white supremacist legacy of philanthropy and nonprofit fundraising. We recognize that the people and communities the movement groups we partner with serve, organize with, and advocate for have been the most deeply impacted by this legacy. Therefore, our understanding of our mission and the solutions we offer to support scaling progressive power must fully embrace the principles of inclusion, diversity, equity, access, and liberation (IDEAL).
This embrace includes failing forward. When we fall short of IDEAL, we learn and transform these growing opportunities into measurable action. We want everyone, especially those not traditionally centered in our country, to have a place and a path to thrive at Progressive Multiplier. As such, we are an organization of people who center the intersectional principles of inclusion, diversity, equity, access, and liberation in all that we do.

Reducing barriers rooted in systemic bias toward those diverse identities and, through our distinctions, becoming a stronger organization.

Acknowledging that access creates the context for equity and upending the current systems of work that have historically prevented people from thriving as whole people.
LIBERATION
Supporting each other to be our whole selves. We hold space to heal from trauma caused by injustice, including issues of gender bias, racial inequity, and social marginalization, to then revel in radical liberation.
