Since our founding, we have partnered with philanthropic organizations and other ecosystem-building organizations to identify revenue generation catalytic investments, support financial resilience, and shift funding strategies to resist the nonprofit industrial complex to fuel long-term, autonomous movement growth. Thanks to those partners, we've served over 300 organizations and published more than 200 trainings, toolkits, and case studies for the progressive movement.

The Convergence began as a project funded entirely out of our general operating funds with no dedicated philanthropic investment because we knew it would be critical to our mission. We are ready to take the next step towards meeting our purpose of building progressive power by helping movement groups organize diverse financial capital and revolutionizing how the movement invests in its own ability to sustain and scale.

Building upon the foundational work of The Catalyst and the innovation of The Lab, The Convergence is our vehicle to accomplish our purpose, scaling the impact of our work beyond the traditional technical assistance model to democratize knowledge and cultivate a community of practice and care for those organizing financial capital for the movement.
